Local businessman donates £1k to Colne Radio

Shamus Galvin is the owner of The Plough Great Bentley, The Cherry Tree in Blackheath, Colchester and The Village Inn at St.Osyth Beach. He has given Colne Radio the magnificent sum of £1,000 which will be used to help the station go FM.

“I was very happy to support Colne Radio. I believe that a community radio station broadcasting on FM will be great for local listeners, businesses and charity groups. It will keep us all in touch with what’s going on in the area.”

Shamus handed his donation to a delighted Justin Fairweather, development manager for Colne Radio.
